Book Signing with Author Cygnet Brown

Local author, Cygnet Brown, will be with us for summer reading story and activity times starting at 10:30am. At noon, she will have a few moments to sign books and answer questions about preparing wild Ozarks edibles. Her new book, Gourmet Weeds, is available for checkout at the library as well. You will find many books on identifying wild edibles of the Ozarks, but most won't tell you what to do once you've harvested them. This book is filled with recipes for soups, salads, jellies, and even casseroles using those pesky weeds in your yard. And there's a healthy serving of good old fashioned common sense and Ozark Granny love.
