History

The Horton Hotel in Willow in 1912 when "The Wednesday Club" organized the first library in Willow Springs in one room over the Russ Grocery Store on the corner of Center and 2nd Street.

In 1953 a city tax was voted in to support the library and the corner lot on 2nd and Harris Street was chosen.

The library only accepts
debit and credit cards for purchases of $5.00 or more. There is a $1 convenience fee for all debit & credit transactions

Patrons may call to request renewal of materials to avoid fines or renew on the MO Evergreen app

The after-hours book return
is located on the side
of the library facing 3rd street near the flag pole.
Books returned on the weekend will not be
checked in until
the next business day.
