About the Event
This week we are excited to have a special guest - local author Cygnet Brown. Ms. Brown is one of the "Ozarks Grannies" who recently released the book Gourmet Weeds. She will be reading some fun weedy stories and teaching kids about a few plants that are safe to eat in our own backyards and some they should never eat. It will be educational for all! And yes - we plan to have some wild food for the kids to sample.
There will be a microscope with prepared slides set up all week for kids and adults to get a closer look at plant and bug parts.
